Cossack
The historic town of Cossack (originally known as Tien Tsin) was a key port for the early development of the North West of Australia. Cossack's port was home to the first pearler's in the region before they found a new home in Broome and also an early hub for Gold hunters and pastorlist's alike. Many of the original buildings have been lovingly restored and at only 30 mins drive from Karratha, Cossack offers a wonderful place for a day visit with great fishing, a cafe inside of the historic buildings, a fantastic swimming beach (settlers beach) and much more.
