One giant colossal iron ore port, where multiple ore carriers of up to 200,000 tonnes are loaded with precision and efficiency. The unending movement of iron ore trains, some stretching up to three kilometers, weave through this dynamic landscape. This print is perfect for anyone who calls (or once called) Port Hedland home or is purely captivated by the impressive scale of industrial operations and the raw beauty of WA’s Pilbara region.
Frames: Our picture frames utilise high-quality, sustainably sourced wood, FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified and managed by experienced picture framers. The high-quality wood frames are milled with simple clean lines and presented with a natural satin finish. Our framed prints also include an elegant off-white, acid-free mount that surrounds the image and will not discolour or fade with age. Pease note, your selected size is the measurement of the external frame edge, therefore the internal print will be slightly smaller.
Glaze: All Pilbara Prints framed prints come with Acrylic Plexiglass; providing increased UV protection and less glare than float glass.
Paper: Your selected image will be printed using premium, fine art paper using a Gicleé printing process. The Enhanced Matte Art (EMA) substrate is a premium-quality heavyweight paper with a gently textured surface. The 200gsm museum-quality paper works particularly well with large, full colour graphics, photography and illustrations. Sourced exclusively from Hahnemühle, our fine art printing paper provides exceptional tonality and renders sharp details with a consistency & faithfulness.
Delivery: Our framed prints are delivered ready for hanging and shipped with bubble wrap inside walled cardboard boxes to ensure maximum protection.

Wall-art measurements can mean slightly different things depending on the format. The guide below explains what the size selector refers to and what you can expect once your print arrives.
Framed and mounted prints
For our Prodigi classic framed prints, the listed frame size refers to the glazed area inside the frame moulding, not the complete outside measurement of the finished frame. The timber moulding sits outside that glazed area, so the total wall space required will be slightly larger than the size shown.
Where a white mount is included, the photograph sits behind the mount window. This means the printed photograph itself is smaller than the listed frame size:
- Frames 10 × 10 inches or smaller generally use a 1-inch (2.5 cm) mount on each side.
- Frames up to 11 × 14 inches generally use a 1.5-inch (3.8 cm) mount on each side.
- Frames 12 × 16 inches and larger generally use a 2-inch (5.1 cm) mount on each side.
For example, an 18 × 24-inch framed and mounted option contains an image measuring approximately 14 × 20 inches. Small production tolerances may apply.
Stretched canvas
The listed width and height refer to the front face of the stretched canvas. The image or coloured edge then wraps around the timber stretcher frame according to the edge style selected. Standard stretched canvases are approximately 38 mm deep, although specifications can vary slightly by size and production location.
Framed canvas
The listed width and height refer to the canvas itself. A slim gap separates the canvas from the surrounding float frame, so the finished outside dimensions are larger than the selected canvas size. Prodigi’s standard framed canvas uses an approximately 5 mm floating gap and a 12 mm frame face on each side, with an overall depth of approximately 53 mm. Please allow a small production tolerance.
Rolled prints (print only)
The listed dimensions refer to the paper size. Rolled prints are supplied without a frame or mount, ready for you to frame locally.
