The Cossack Heritage Trail, a self-navigated tour, provides a journey through the celebrated history of the city, revealing its arresting architecture and notable landmarks.
Beyond its pearling history, Cossack is also home to a rich indigenous heritage. The Yaburara people, who are the indigenous inhabitants of the Cossack area have a deep connection to the land and sea around Cossack. Visitors can learn about the Yaburara culture and history at the nearby Roebourne Art Group, which features an impressive collection of indigenous artworks. Additionally, the Yaburara Heritage Trail, a scenic walk that winds through the mangroves and rocky coastline near Cossack, offers visitors the opportunity to learn about the traditional uses of the land and the stories of the Yaburara people.
